A fascinating tour with details on the German, Czech and Polish settlements in Texas during the 1840s and 1850s.
A chance to see some of the magnificent churches built and painted by these early settlers.
We'll see two churches then stop for lunch at the Oakridge Smokehouse before visiting the last two churches.
Itinerary
8 am - pick up at HTOT (Huntsville Tours of Texas office) 1225 11th Street
9:00 am - Rest stop in Navasota.
10:30 am - pick up Tour guide at the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce to visit two churches
1:00 pm - stop for lunch at Oakridge Smokehouse
2:00 pm - visits to two more churches
5:30ish - rest stop
7:00 ish - back home
