This is a truly historic fourteen day tour that includes everything from a fascinating train trip into the deepest and longest canyon in the Western hemisphere to a chance to see whales in the Sea of Cortez. We will not only cover all of nature’s amazing variety, but we will also explore Mexico’s history from Hernán Cortéz who settled the towns of Loreto and La Paz to the mines of the 1880s. We’ll get to visit Loreto, one of the earliest settlements on the Baja peninsula, and tour a 300 year-old Franciscan mission. From La Paz we will get to watch whales in the Sea of Cortez. Then driving down the peninsula, we’ll get to enjoy sangrias and barbecue at a historic mining operation. At Loreto and La Paz and Cabo you will have free time to book your own tours with local agencies to snorkel with the seals, ride in glass bottom boats and explore sunken treasure.
Our first International Tour of the year is the fabulous Copper Canyon to Cabo fourteen day tour, February 5 -18. Don't lose out on a great opportunity! Book this tour IMMEDIATELY!
Touring in Mexico is not the challenge it once was. It is possible to travel safely throughout much of Mexico, in particular in tourist areas such as the Copper Canyon and the Baja peninsula. These noted tourist spots are safe-havens for Americans who bring much of the money into the area. Dr. Crimm has conducted tours to these areas and is familiar with the best hotels and restaurants.
She will also provide you with plenty of time to sign up for specialty tours like watching the whales in the Sea of Cortez. It is a never-to-be-forgotten experience and one that Dr. Crimm will share with you in complete safety.
Sorry, no Joye Mobile on these tours!
